Publisher: Madeline Smoot

Madeline has always wanted to have her own publishing house. She loves to read and read, but after editing for a while, she discovered she didn't like reading everything that came to the slush pile. Now having a team of expert editors weed through the deluge of manuscripts is her idea of paradise.

Madeline also is an author herself with a few things in print, so she's been on both sides of the publishing fence. With a BBA in Marketing from SMU and an almost MA in Children's Literature from Hollins University (we keep telling her to just finish that thesis), Madeline has all aspects of the publishing world down.
